Good morning, will I be able to use depo provera contraceptive injections with elevated dimers and fibrinogen? Are contraceptive injections safe when it comes to blood clotting cases?

Medroxyprogesterone acetate (the active ingredient in Depo-Provera) had no effect on thrombotic or thromboembolic disorders. Whether you will be able to use this type of hormonal contraception will be decided by the gynecologist after conducting a detailed medical interview.
