Headache is a very common side effect of Escipram - especially in the first days of treatment. The situation should stabilize during the first 2 weeks of treatment. It is also worth controlling blood pressure and heart rate values - sometimes the drug lowers the heart rate (below 60 beats per minute), which may result in m.in headaches and weakness. If the pain is unbearable - then the doctor may decide to change the method of treatment. The observed side effect should be reported to the doctor.
