Whether you should use metformin, i.e. the aforementioned Formetic drug, depends not only on body weight, but also on the results of the tests and the purpose of the treatment. This drug is not only used in people with type 2 diabetes or overweight, obesity. It is sometimes prescribed to people with type 1 diabetes, women with PCOS, people with prediabetes - and these are not always overweight patients. Whether you should use it depends on what the purpose is, and the purpose should be explained to you by the doctor who conducts your treatment. I leave a link to a video that may interest you:
