Is it possible to drink herbal teas, e.g. from lemon balm, linden, mint or horsetail, when using Propranolol or other medicines for hypertension?

Is it possible to drink herbal teas made of lemon balm, linden, mint or horsetail when using Propranolol and overpressure medicines in general? If so, is there a need to keep a distance? If the drug is taken in the evening, is it still possible to drink such tea just before bedtime? I've read that these herbs can help lower the pressure. Can they really help here with regular use?

When taking Propranolol or other preparations for hypertension, you can drink herbal teas with a sedative effect, e.g. with lemon balm. The body's reaction should then be observed - because the chronic use of such teas with antihypertensive drugs can actually cause symptoms of hypotension, e.g. headaches, drowsiness, concentration disorders. At night, horsetail should be avoided - because this raw material has diuretic properties. Used in excess and combined with drugs for hypertension (especially diuretics) can lead to hypotension. There are no contraindications to drinking infusions of mint or linden at night - it is worth knowing that linden has, m.in, diaphoretic properties.
