To @Ania:
Such side effects are characteristic of long-term oral use of steroids. In the case of topical medications, the risk of such events is negligible.
According to the manufacturer: "Corticosteroids administered into the nose, especially when used in high doses over a long period of time, can cause systemic effects. These effects are much less likely to occur than with oral corticosteroids. These effects may vary from patient to patient and with different medicinal products containing Corticosteroids. Possible systemic effects include Cushing's syndrome, Cushingoid features, adrenal suppression, cataracts, glaucoma, and, more rarely, psychiatric or behavioural disorders including excessive psychomotor activity, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression or aggression."
For over-the-counter nasal steroids, the maximum duration of treatment (without consulting a doctor) is 14 days.
Angelika, but is nasometin safe to use for glaucoma if glaucoma or cataracts are mentioned as side effects of the drug?

For patients with glaucoma, preparations based on sea water will be safe, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/88314/disnemar-aerozol/apteki?pvid=211544#internetowe If the runny nose is strong - you can include a steroid in nasal drops, the preparation is available in a pharmacy without a prescription, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99435/nasometin-control-aerozol/apteki?pvid=247938#internetowe
