It is difficult to assess the correctness of the procedure without knowing your medical records and other drugs used. According to the 2012 national institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines, the combination of triptan, NSAIDs or paracetamol and/or an antiemetic is recommended, taken as soon as possible after a headache. Non-specific drugs to interrupt a migraine attack: - paracetamol at a dose of 1 g https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/59542/paracetamol-biofarm-1000-mg-tabletki-powlekane/apteki NSAIDs: - acetylsalicylic acid at a dose of 900 mg (first-line drug) https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/7721/aspirin-ultra-fast-tabletki-musujace/apteki - ibuprofen at a dose of 400-800 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92507/ibuprofen-sensilab-polfalodz-ibuprofen-max-tabletki-powlekane/apteki - naproxen in dose of 500-1000 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/51536/naproxen-aflofarm-tabletki/apteki – tolfenamic acid at a dose of 200 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/87786/migea-tabletki/apteki – diclofenac at a dose of 50-75 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/83796/voltaren-express-forte-kapsulki/apteki Please note that it is inadvisable to combine NSAIDs with each other due to the increased risk of side effects, and at the same time does not increase the therapeutic effect on the patient. According to current medical literature, taking up to two different NSAIDs increases the risk of kidney or liver damage by as much as seven times. Solpadein, which is based on paracetamol, can be combined with all NSAIDs. I suggest starting with Aspirin, which is a first-line drug, also in the prevention of migraine attacks.
