Does bleeding, pain in the ovaries and lower abdomen after changing tablets from Zoely to Orlifique indicate that the tablets are too weak?

Hello. I switched from zoely tablets to oriflique because the previous ones caused spotting. I started taking new pills right after finishing the previous ones and on the sixth day there was bleeding and quite severe pain in the ovaries and lower abdomen. Could this mean that the hormones are too weak?

To @Gosc: Preferably from a new pack - after finishing taking tablets from the current blister (active and placebo), you can start using active tablets from the new package at a new, convenient time. Contraception will be preserved.

Thank you for your reply. And I wanted to ask how to change the time of taking pills safely. Now I take in the morning but it is a bit cumbersome. I would prefer in the evening. .

These symptoms are associated with a change in tablets. However, they do not indicate that the drug works too poorly. The body has to adapt to the supply of hormones again - during the first few cycles (3-4) you can observe bleeding or mid-cycle spotting, this is completely normal.
