Sometimes treatment with small-molecule heparins (such as nadroparin - a component of Fraxiparine drugs) is long-lasting, if the situation requires it. For example, anticoagulant treatment after an episode of venous thromboembolism should last a minimum of 3 months. There is also no strictly defined maximum length of therapy. Fraxiparine is a medicine that you have been ordered by your doctor (it is on prescription) and if you do not feel any improvement and you are concerned, this should prompt you to contact your doctor.
