Can I use Xanax or Relanium on my own while I am treated with Brintellix?
Hello, if I have been using brintellix for a few months, with quite good, but unfortunately there has been a recurrence of depressive states again, but not on a daily basis, it results from a difficult health situation but from a different angle, can I take xanax or relanium temporarily in case of sleep problems? They used to help me get enough sleep, but that was before the brintellix treatment. Thank you in advance

The decision to use drugs such as Xanax or Relanium should be based on the doctor's decision. You should not make your own decision about their inclusion in therapy, even if you have these drugs at home. These are powerful agents, designed for use in situations where anxiety hinders normal functioning. Unskillfully used can have a negative impact on the course of the underlying disease (diagnosed and treated depression).
