What to do if the skin condition after Diane-35 has not improved?
Hello. I finished 3 packs of Diane 35. I'm in a 7 day break. The condition of the skin has not improved. Subcutaneous aching eczema continues to pop up. Do you give a chance and accept 2 more packages? I will add that diane I got for acne because all other ointments antibiotics from dermatology did not give advice. Can I count on improvement after some time or the tablets will not work for me?

For @Martyna: Reducing sebum secretion can be a good prognosticator. As Olga Sierpniowska, MSc Farm, mentioned below, you should wait at least a few weeks for the visual effects of the treatment.
Yes, sebum secretion has decreased. Is this a sign that the pills are starting to work?

Treatment of acne with hormones such as cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol contained in Diane-35 tablets generally brings results at the earliest after a few weeks, but sometimes up to 3-4 months of therapy. Excessive sebum secretion - a significant cause of skin lesions - should decrease earlier. I suggest using the drug in accordance with your doctor's instructions - presumably you have received the number of packages by the time of the next control visit. The lack of effectiveness of Diane-35 in the treatment of acne lesions will be a message to the dermatologist that the treatment should be changed or modified.
