According to the manufacturer - do not give the drug to children under 2 years of age. If your doctor has advised otherwise, please follow the recommendation of your pediatrician and rely on his experience. The medicinal product contains approximately 19% (v/v) of ethanol, which means that 25 drops of the product contain approximately 210 mg of ethanol, which is equal to 5 ml of beer or 2 ml of wine. Thus, using the dosage recommended by the pediatrician, the child will take an amount of alcohol equal to 1 teaspoon of beer or half a teaspoon of wine per day. Therefore, these are so small amounts that they are not able to cause harmful effects, e.g. on the liver.
