Metypred is not analgesic and is not used for toothache. Metypred are tablets intended for the treatment of m.in inflammation, autoimmune diseases, severe allergic reactions and severe forms of asthma. The preparation contains methylprednisolone belonging to glucocorticosteroids. The substance inhibits the expression of various proteins in the cell, due to which it exhibits an anti-inflammatory, antiallergic and immunosuppressive effect.
