In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

According to the manufacturer's information, 1 pen is intended for 4 doses. Information about 7 or 8 administrations (1 per week) appears because there is actually more solution in the 0.25 mg pen, which allows more injections than the manufacturer's indicated 4. In the application technique, however, nothing changes. If you have been advised to use a dose of 0.25 and you have an Ozempic pen at a dose of 0.25 mg, you simply follow the instructions in the leaflet. In short - first we fix the needle, check the flow, patency. If it is open and a solution of the drug has escaped through the needle, we set the knob to 0.25 (in the window) and administer the drug subcutaneously.
