Can I use Atoris every other day? Should Polprazole be used with Acard, Atoris, Biosotal, Prestarium, Apo-Tamis, Finaran?

Every day I take soro drugs: Acard, Biosotal, Prestarium, Apo-tamis and Finaran. The doctor prescribed me additionally Atoris 20, can I take it every other day to put less strain on the stomach? Or maybe for the protection of the stomach take polprazole?

Caution should be exercised when administering atorvastatin (e.g. Atoris) to patients who consume significant amounts of alcohol, especially with concomitant impairment of liver function. Alcohol together with the active substance contained in the drug increases the risk of liver damage. If it was a one-time situation during the holidays and you do not have liver problems, alcohol is unlikely to harm your health. It is important that this is not a common situation. No dose missed is needed as the duration of action is approximately 40 to 60 hours due to the effect of active metabolites. I encourage you to consult your doctor. It may be necessary to change the prescribed pharmacotherapy. Termination of therapy with Atoris and change of treatment to natural methods should take place under the supervision of the attending physician. The doctor, based on your medical history, as well as the tolerance of medicines, will recommend appropriate therapeutic management. Uncommon side effects of Atoris include, m.in, insomnia, nightmares. I encourage you to report the occurrence of side effects of the drug. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

I take atoris 20 already 4 days, but I feel bad after it, I can not sleep, I wake up every hour. Is it possible to stop taking this drug overnight and start following a cholesterol-lowering diet?

Taking Atoris every other day will affect the failure of the prescribed pharmacotherapy. The drug should be used daily at a fixed time: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/7928/atoris-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/106013 There is no need to use Polprazol as a cover for Acard, Atoris, Biosotal, Prestarium, Apo-Tamis and Finaran. I encourage you to inform your doctors about all medicines and dietary supplements used. This will allow you to choose a safe and effective pharmacotherapy. We wrote more about whether it is possible to combine drugs with each other in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-ze-soba I encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-wyleczyc-chora-prostate https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/nadcisnienie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/problemy-z-sercem https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/wysoki-cholesterol
