There are some interactions between the drugs included in the question. The combined use of these medicines may be therapeutically beneficial, but the patient should be closely monitored for signs of toxicity during the use of such a combination. These drugs should be used very carefully under strict medical supervision. Parallel use of beta-blockers (e.g., Biosotal) with galantamine (e.g., Nivalin) may cause additive effects leading to bradycardia. Cases of adverse reactions (e.g. syncope, bradycardia, arrhythmias and cardiac arrest) have been reported during the combination of these medicines. Beta-blockers (e.g., biosotal) may reduce hepatic blood flow and/or inhibit liver enzymes, leading to a weakening of lidocaine metabolism (e.g., Milgamma). This may lead to an increase in serum lidocaine concentrations and possibly an increase in its toxicity. Studies have shown that the simultaneous use of beta-blockers and lidocaine may promote the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia. The patient's ECG and signs of toxicity (e.g. bradycardia, impaired myocardial contractility) should be monitored during the combined use of these drugs.
