I have been taking Vixpo for 5 months. I used Orlifique before. I had to change the Orlifique because for the first 3 months there were spotting, and then the bleeding appeared too early. And the strange thing is that it was at Vixpo that it happened again... 4 months was perfectly fine, without spotting, until suddenly in the fifth cycle spotting occurred and it is already the eighth day. What could be the reason for such situations? Will I have to change my tablets to a higher or lower dose?

To @Saba: It is possible that the recent viral infection may have indirectly affected the occurrence of spotting. However, these are conjectures, unsupported by scientific evidence. Equally, spotting may not have any connection to the disease. Spotting that occurs in a single cycle is usually not a basis for changing the contraceptive pill. I suggest observing the body's reactions in subsequent cycles, if spotting is repeated regularly, it is worth considering changing the tablets, e.g. to one-component tablets, which you will read about in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-jednoskladnikowe
And is it possible that it was reduced immunity and shingles that somehow caused these spotting? Thank you very much for all your answers

Abdominal pain is also a common side effect of birth control pills and may occur concomitantly with spotting.
This spotting is also painful, from these 10 days I feel as if I usually have withdrawal bleeding. Is it also normal or should there be no pain with such spotting?

Neither Izotek nor Mozarin affects the way contraceptive pills work. Such spotting can persist even the entire cycle and this is a normal side effect of contraceptive pills, which has no effect on their effectiveness. The human body is changeable and such situations can happen - this is not a reason to worry too much, and stress can only aggravate the situation.
I could really stress a lot, I also had weakened immunity, because I fell ill with shingles after the start of this spotting. But can spotting last that long? It's day 9. Could Izotek have any influence on this if I did not take it in a sufficient time interval from contraception? I will add that I take Mozarin and recently reduced the dose from 20mg to 10mg. I have a visit to the gynecologist only in over 2 weeks, i.e. in the middle of the next cycle, I will worry so far ...

Single spotting is usually not a cause for concern and is completely normal when using birth control pills. Sometimes they can be associated with stressful situations or illnesses, e.g. colds. If the spotting will be repeated in subsequent cycles and will be very burdensome, you can go to your gynecologist and, for example, change the tablets to others that will be better tolerated by your body - other active substances, different proportions. I will add that I am currently taking Izotek, since January in a dose of 20mg and since about 3 weeks ago the dose has been increased to 30mg.
