Sertagen - like other drugs approved for human use - is a drug that has been tested for effectiveness and safety. However, it can, but does not have to cause side effects. Virtually every drug has some side effects. All of them are described in the leaflet, but this does not mean that they will occur in everyone. With Sertagen, the most common (with the highest statistical frequency - may affect more than 1 in 10 patients) are sleep problems, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, diarrhea, nausea, dry mouth, ejaculation disorders, fatigue. "Palpitations" may affect 1 in 10 patients, heart rate acceleration: 1 in 100, heart rhythm slowing or other heart problems (including heart attack): 1 in 1000. Convulsions may occur uncommonly (1 in 100 people). A drug such as Sertagen is prescribed to improve health and prevent dangerous complications that could arise if treatment was not taken. Therapy is introduced when the anticipated benefits of it outweigh the possible risks. Sertagen is available by prescription, so the case study lies with the doctor, who analyzes all the information and chooses the drug in a given situation that is best for the patient.
