Good morning, I have been using Evra patches for 4 months. My day of sticking a new one is always on Wednesday. At the beginning of May I have an important trip and I would not like to have bleeding on the weekend (and it always occurs on the weekend). Can I exceptionally stick 4 patches in April to postpone my bleeding day? Best regards

To @Klaudia:
In the Summary of Product Characteristics, the manufacturer does not mention how to proceed if you want to accelerate the onset of withdrawal bleeding in the manner you describe, i.e. to apply only 2 patches. However, such a procedure is not recommended, as it may lead to a decrease in contraceptive protection and the need to use an additional, barrier method of contraception (e.g. a condom) at least during the 7-day break and the first week of using the patches.
Hello, can you speed up menstruation in the same way? Peel off the second patch and take a 7-day break ?
I already understand everything, thank you very much for your help! 🙂

Yes, in the next cycle you should proceed as standard, i.e. as usual for three weeks use patches, and then take a 7-day break.
In this case, should I use 3 patches from the package as standard in the next cycle?

Yes, you can apply one more Evra patch in the cycle to postpone the bleeding day. Then you need to take a 7-day break.
