Do my grandfather's medications interact?

Good morning, my grandfather is taking the following medications: Nedal, Diuresin SR, Cavinton Forte, Madopar, Aglan, Mydocalm Forte, Milgamma, Zofenil, Roswera, Rivastigmine Apotex (patches), Metformax, Polocard and I would like to know if there are no negative interactions between any of them and if for sure they can all be taken in one day

There are some interactions between the drugs included in the question. The combined use of these medicines may be therapeutically beneficial, but the patient should be closely monitored for side effects during the combination. Concomitant use of salicylates (e.g. Polocard) and NSAIDs (e.g. Aglan) may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. In addition, there is evidence that NSAIDs may have the opposite effect on the antiplatelet effect of acetylsalicylic acid administered in small doses and weaken its cardioprotective effect. In light of the latest ACE knowledge, inhibitors (e.g., Zophenil) increase insulin sensitivity, which may increase the risk of hypoglycemia. The occurrence of increased hypoglycaemia in elderly patients with parallel use of ACE inhibitors and metformin (e.g. Metformax) has been documented. In addition, the concomitant use of ACE inhibitors and metformin resulted in several severe cases of lactic acidosis in patients at risk (old age, renal/hepatic impairment, decreased circulating blood volume). Although this combination may be therapeutically beneficial, it would be reasonable to monitor predisposed patients for hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis. It is worth being aware of what the effects of simultaneous use of these drugs may be, so that if they are observed, the patient can relate the symptoms with the fact of combining specific substances. There is evidence that NSAIDs (including Aglan) can increase blood pressure in patients using ACE inhibitors (e.g. Zofenil). Caution should be exercised when these drugs are used concomitantly in elderly patients. Patients should be adequately hydrated. If NSAIDs are included in therapy, an increase in the frequency of blood pressure measurements should be considered. Please note that the more medications a patient takes, the greater the risk of adverse interactions between them. Already taking two drugs at the same time creates a risk of undesirable interactions at the level of 13-14 percent. If a patient takes 8 to 10 medications at the same time, it is almost certain that there will be interactions between them and there will be interactions that negatively affect the patient's health. This problem applies especially to the elderly, treated for several diseases at the same time.
