Does taking Asertin and Convulex reduce appetite? Is it possible to consume alcohol when taking these drugs?

As for the effects on appetite and body weight, increased appetite may be observed with Asertin in 1 to 100 patients. Less commonly, because in 1 to 10 in 1000 side effects may consist of increasing or decreasing body weight. When taking Convulex, more than 1 in 10 people may experience weight gain. Side effects may or may not occur. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking Asertin. It is not recommended to drink alcohol during treatment with Convulex.
