Good morning. Can I use tribux forte, zirid and emanere together and xifaxan and metronidazole for sibo? That's what the doctor wrote to me. My doubts mainly concern emanera which inhibits the secretion of stomach acid, and this in turn is a good environment for sibo. In that case, is one not excluded from the other?

For @Maciej: These medications can be safely taken together, but remember to use them as directed by your doctor.
Thank you. But what about using the other drugs together? Can I safely use them together?

Emanera increases the risk of developing SIBO in a moderate way. Short-term use of the drug, e.g. for the time of taking Metronidazole is safe. If your doctor has recommended chronic use of Emanera (for several months), your body's response should be monitored, as doing so may actually increase the risk of SIBO - then a change in treatment may be necessary.
