Does hand cream affect the effect of contraceptive pills?

Hello, when smearing very dry hands with Garnier cream for dried hands, on which there were scabs and burning after smearing can cause the cream to be absorbed into the blood and thus the contraceptive pills will not work? I had it on my hands for about 45 minutes, then I wash it off.

The ingredients of the hand cream do not penetrate the bloodstream, so there is no way that they interact with contraceptive pills. You have no reason to worry and contraceptive protection remains preserved. You can read more about the effect of hand cream on the effectiveness of contraceptive pills in the following thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/75847/czy-krem-do-rak-wplywa-na-skutecznosc-tabletek-antykoncepcyjnych
