Are amenorrhea, increased appetite and nervousness normal symptoms during the first months of using Slinda contraceptive pills?

Hi I have a question I finished the first pack of contraceptive pills slinda and I'm on the 13 pill from the second pack I still haven't gotten my period. In general, I have an increased appetite and I can see that I am very nervous or is it normal?

To begin with, I must point out that when using contraceptive pills, there is no typical menstruation, and withdrawal bleeding, caused by a break in taking hormones (taking placebo pills or maintaining a break between subsequent packages of the drug). Slinda are single-component contraceptive pills that are characterized by the fact that when they are used in most women, there is no withdrawal bleeding. An inconvenience that may occur while taking Slinda is the occurrence of irregular mid-cycle bleeding and spotting while taking it. According to the Slinda tablet manufacturer, "Withdrawal bleeding (defined as bleeding that begins within 4 days with placebo tablets and lasts up to 8 consecutive days) was most common in the first cycles – withdrawal bleeding occurred in less than 40% of women using single-component tablets and this frequency decreased over the course of the study. After 9 months of taking the tablets, withdrawal bleeding was reported in less than 20% of women using the tablets. " I also include a link to the article on single-ingredient pills: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-jednoskladnikowe Side effects such as increased appetite or nervousness can also accompany the use of Slinda contraceptive pills, especially in the first months. The body needs time to "adapt" to hormonal changes occurring under the influence of hormones contained in contraceptive pills - this period usually lasts up to 3 months. If after this time the symptoms do not go away, you can go to your gynecologist. Reporting side effects to your doctor or individually allows you to gather more information about the safety of your medications and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
