Analgesics and pressure lowering drugs - can it be used together?

Hello, I should start taking metocard for physiological sinus tachycardia, but I delay with this because I have a dilemma. I have a very painful 1 day of menstruation, without nurofen I can not do (express forte). However, I read in the leaflet that you can not combine metocard with nlpz. What in such a situation? Are there any other painkillers that work in such a situation and do not interact with metocard?

Between metoprolol contained in Metocard and ibuprofen, the active substance of Nurofen Express Forte, there is an interaction of weakening the hypotensive (blood pressure-lowering) effect of metoprolol. If you do not have problems with hypertension, the simultaneous use of both drugs is not contraindicated. A similar interaction also occurs between other drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ketoprofen, meloxicam or naproxen. Medicines containing paracetamol can be used in parallel with Metocard (for painful menstruation, one of the medicinal products containing a combination of paracetamol and hyoscine, e.g. Panadol Femina) or metamizole may be used (e.g. in the case of painful menstruation, a combination of metamizole with caffeine and drotaverine, e.g. Vemonis Femi), may be helpful).
