Polfenone is a prescription drug and these are tablets intended for use in the treatment of arrhythmias. The preparation contains propafenone, whose mechanism of action consists in stabilizing cell membranes by blocking sodium channels. Thanks to this, the preparation has antiarrhythmic properties. The preparation is good for people who need it. Just like any other prescription drug. Using the drug without a cause can harm, but also NOT using the drug when it is needed can be negative for health.
