Hello, in the recommendation from the hospital I have written that I have to give the child (3years, 14kg) once a day 5.6ml of the prepared solution. So I have to give a full syringe or 5ml plus grind 0.6ml? Is there a chance that this is a spelling error or is it actually possible because, for example, it is calculated by the weight of the child?

The dose of Cetix is based on your child's body weight - 8 mg cefuroxime (the active substance in Cetix)/kg body weight per day. This means that for a child weighing 14kg, 112 mg of cefuroxime should be administered, which corresponds to 5.6 ml of suspension. I attach the leaflet of the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89646/cetix-granulat-do-wytworzenia-zawiesiny/ulotka
