Hello, due to sinus tachycardia HR above 100 beats / min when standing and walking, the doctor recommended invabradine 7.5 mg x2 per day. On the second day of taking the drug, he observes that resting HR drops below 50, during sleep up to 40. During the effort, HR is 70-95. Does low resting HR at the beginning of treatment pass over time and is it not dangerous, or does it require medical consultation and dose reduction?

You should consult your doctor, you will probably need to lower the dose of the drug. From the drug documentation: "If during treatment the resting heart rate decreases below 50 beats per minute or the patient experiences symptoms associated with bradycardia, such as dizziness, tiredness or hypotension, the dose should be gradually reduced to a minimum dose of 2.5 mg twice a day (twice a day for half a 5 mg tablet). After dose reduction, heart rate should be monitored. Treatment should be discontinued if the heart rate remains below 50 beats per minute or if symptoms of bradycardia persist despite dose reduction."
