Hello. I am 43 years old, I have a migraine with an aura. With what means can I postpone menstruation by two weeks? Best regards.

It is not possible to shift menstrual bleeding on your own. Such an effect can be caused by hormones issued with a doctor's prescription. You often reach for two-component contraceptive pills, which, however, may not be suitable for you due to your age and the occurrence of migraine with aura. An alternative is the progestin itself (e.g. medroxyprogesterone), but here also the gynecologist should collect an anamnesis and assess whether it will be safe in your case. Migraine is listed in the pool of warnings for the use of the drug.
