Isotretinoin, the ingredient in Izotek, can cause severe damage to the unborn baby and can cause miscarriages. These effects can occur only if the drug is taken for a short period of time during pregnancy. If pregnancy occurs, it is recommended to immediately contact a doctor and stop taking the drug.
