Can I use disinfectants if I have an insert?

If I have a patch, can I use disinfectants? And what about the fumes of such liquids? Could it be harmful?

Having an insert, you can use disinfectant liquids - according to their intended purpose and in reasonable quantities. With such use, a small amount of fumes will not adversely affect the effectiveness of the insert and will not be harmful.
