Do I need to repeat my treatment with Vermox?
Hello. If we took vermox for 3 days after 1 tablet, should all household members take the same dose until 2 weeks, i.e. also for 3 days after 1 tablet?

The dosage regimen of Vermox depends on what parasites we are dealing with: - for pinworm, 1 tablet is used at a time, due to frequent relapses, the treatment is repeated after 2-4 weeks, - in the case of ascariasis, hairworm infection, hookworm and mixed infections, 2 tablets are used, (1 tablet in the morning, 1 evening) for 3 consecutive days, the treatment does not need to be repeated. Since the 3*1 tablet schedule does not correspond to any of the schedules shown in the Vermox Summary of Product Characteristics, the question should be directed to the doctor who recommended this dosage method.
