As you wrote - placebo tablets are designed to "implement" the patient to daily, systematic intake of the preparation and ensure the correct, timely, start of the next blister. Placebo has no effect of its own, do not contain hormones and can be omitted if you want it and there are no problems with regular use of the drug and remembering to take the first active tablet from the next blister.
