Eliquis should be discontinued at least 48 hours before elective surgery or other invasive procedures at moderate or high risk of bleeding. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics: "Discontinuation of Eliquis due to elective surgery or invasive procedures exposes patients to an increased risk of thrombosis. Delays in treatment should be avoided and if Eliquis needs to be temporarily discontinued for any reason, treatment should be resumed as soon as possible." I enclose a description of the preparation that you are taking: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/26713/eliquis-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/182776
