Good morning, what to do if I wanted to take the contraceptive pill quickly on the train and I took it out on my hand, put the blister down and I remember that I felt the pill in my mouth, but I did not register it or when I stopped this blister the pill was still in my hand. I remember that she was on the tongue, but I don't know anymore. Often after taking a pill I have such thoughts, because I have anxiety neurosis. Should I treat that one as omitted? It was the 20th tablet. I took the 21st tablet normally. Should you take a placebo break?

I understand, thank you for the information. So I can assume that after 7 days of new packaging I will be protected?

In my opinion, due to an error in the 3rd week of taking the tablets before the 7-day break, there is no 100% certainty that the protection will be maintained again from the first tablet of the next pack and I would recommend using an additional method of contraception. As the manufacturer indicates: "Adequate inhibition of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovary axis occurs after 7 days of continuous taking of tablets." The situation you cited was not consistent with the schemes provided by the manufacturer of the drug, so there is no exact data determining after what time the protection is maintained in such a situation, so opinions on this topic may differ.

Theoretically, protection could be weakened - this does not mean a complete lack of protection. But as has already been established, you have taken this pill, so this issue does not concern you.
This means that it is not known whether after these 7 tablets I would be protected?

Theoretically, you would be protected after at least 7 days of using active tablets from the new blister.
My relatives advised me not to take another one, because this situation is the result of my anxiety neurosis and I would notice if the pill fell out and I normally took the next day 21 tablet and took a placebo break. I usually get tailoring on day 4 with a placebo and today is day 3 and I have brown mucus, so I'll probably get it today. I'm afraid that something has happened to this pill. I will add that in that month I took a 6 day break instead of 7 and the last intercourse was 3 weeks ago with a condom.

To @Anonim: You did not specify the name of the tablets anywhere in the content, and this may be relevant in answering this question.
I would like to ask if theoretically this pill did not absorb and I took the next day pill 21 and took a placebo break, when would I be protected again?
Thank you for your help and also have a nice day :)
So if it was 20 tablets and 21 I took normally, take a placebo break?

There is no reason to worry in my opinion. Anyway, please follow the tips below, have a nice day!
I have been taking pills for 3 years and precisely because it happens automatically, I sometimes have doubts.

If you squeezed the tablet on your hand and then felt its presence in your mouth, there is a small probability that the drug was not finally swallowed. No further dose is required. To avoid such situations in the future, please focus on the activity of using the tablets and attach great importance to concentration when swallowing a dose of the drug. Please also try not to stress so much while taking medication - usually after squeezing the tablet from the blister, the whole process takes place automatically and the tablet is where it should be.
