Can cortisol and prolactin be tested simultaneously?

I have a question: is it possible to perform a cortisol test at the same time after a dexamethasone load in parallel with a prolactin test? Does dexamethasone have any effect on the prolactin score?

Dexamethasone administered before the cortisol test has no effect on prolactin levels - however, the prolactin level test is performed on an empty stomach - so it should not be done after taking dexamethasone, because then you will no longer be fasting. In the case of prolactin, blood collection should take place in the morning, at least 2 hours after waking up, between 8 and 10 o'clock. You should appear on an empty stomach (10-12 hours after the last meal) and after a good night's sleep.
