Does Endovelle (dienogest) increase the risk of thrombosis?

Does endovelle (dienogest) increase the risk of thrombosis? I read everywhere that it is estrogens that cause the risk of occurrence. I wonder what it's like when taking progesterone. Is the risk also as great as with estrogens?

The increased risk of thrombosis is mainly associated with the presence of estrogens. In the case of progestins, it is believed that this risk is minimally or even insignificantly increased. There is little evidence of an association between the administration of medicines containing progestogens, such as Endovelle, and the increased risk of a blood clot. However, due to the potential serious consequences of thrombosis, the documentation of medicines such as Endovelle also contains all the information and warnings about this complication. The risk may increase in women who smoke, are overweight, have high blood pressure and with age (over 35 years of age).
