Kidney disorders during treatment with Metypred - what to do?

Hello. I have been taking Metypred 16mg for Crohn's disease for 4 days. I got a fever that is already going down because I started using paracetamol. However, my kidneys hurt and I have dark urine, I give it a maximum of 2 times a day when I was able to do it 10 times a day before. Is this a normal reaction to this drug? Alternatively, what can I do to support the work of the kidneys? I will add that the drug is to be taken for 20 days in total, then the dose is to be reduced.

The symptoms described in the question cannot be classified as "normal" reactions to the drug. Their occurrence is an indication for urgent consultation with a general practitioner, who, if deems it necessary, will order the necessary urine tests. I warn against independent attempts to support the work of the kidneys, in this matter should comment the doctor.
