Skipping a few birth control pills - what effect can it have?

If I missed a few orlifique tablets in the blister (they were tablets from the first and second row) and discarded the omitted tablets (during this blister I did not have intercourse or 7 days before the start of the blister). Can I have sex without protection from the new blister if I take it correctly? And how will such an irregularity affect the timing of bleeding?

To @Anka: Yes. Please be aware that irregular use of contraceptive pills, in addition to weakening their effectiveness, may be associated with an increase in the incidence of side effects, so such situations should be avoided.

Well, that is, still so that I could be sure. Using the tablets irregularly (omitting some tablets from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd row) and taking a 7-day break for tieing, you can have sex without protection only on the 8th day from the start of a new blister and by the 8th day you should use condoms. Agree?

To @Anka: yes, the situation is analogous. For the first 7 days you should use a condom, on the 8th day you can have sex without protection. This is because in order to inhibit ovulation, it is necessary to take birth control pills continuously for 7 days.

And the situation is the same if I missed 2 more tablets from the third row? That is, after the start of a new blister for 7 days additional protection and on the 8th day you can without?

So if I take a 7-day break, after starting a new blister on the 8th day of taking pills, I can have sex without protection?

In the situation described in the question, in order to ensure the proper effectiveness of contraceptive pills, you can skip the placebo tablets from the 4th order of the blister and after taking the last pink active pill immediately start using the active tablets from the new blister. In such a situation, after starting a new package, you are protected from becoming pregnant and there is no need for an additional method of contraception. If you decide to take placebo tablets from the current pack, it will be safest to use an additional mechanical method of contraception (e.g. a condom) for the first 7 days of taking the active tablets from the new pack. Irregular intake of tablets may cause mid-cycle bleeding or an increase in withdrawal bleeding as a result of a decrease in the concentration of hormones in the blood. If you have a problem with taking pills regularly, I encourage you to use one of the free applications reminding you to take the drug, e.g. the "Take a tablet" application. There are also other methods of contraception that do not require so much discipline from the patient, e.g. intrauterine devices or contraceptive implants.
