Is it possible to give a child Berodual for up to half a year with bronchial asthma?

Hello. Son 4 years. He was diagnosed with bronchial asthma. We were prescribed monkasta 10 mg and berodual 10 drops + 1 ml of salt for half a year and for control. Won't such a long inhalation hurt?

Berodual can be used for a long time in patients with asthma. In this case, it is advisable to administer an anti-inflammatory drug in parallel - in this case, the assumption was met, because, as you mention, the doctor also recommended Monkasta - a drug with anti-inflammatory effect. Although Berodual is not a typical drug that is included in the control of asthma, its long-term use is possible, it is a safe way of treatment. Therefore, if the doctor has recommended such therapy for your son, please follow the recommendations of a specialist. It is important to increase oral hygiene during this time - it is important to ensure that after each inhalation the son brushes his teeth thoroughly to reduce the risk of developing fungal infections that may occur, especially in chronic therapy.
