Can I combine Metocard with Lisiprol HCT? At what times of the day should they be taken?

Is it possible to combine lisiprol HCT 20 mg + 12.5 mg and Metocard ZK 23.75 mg? Is it possible to use both in the morning or lisiprol in the morning and Metocard in the evening?

Metocard ZK tablets should be taken once a day, with water in the morning. Tablets should be swallowed whole or divided - they should not be chewed or crushed. Lisiprol HCT should be taken at the same time each day. Lisiprol HCT is a two-component drug that includes lisinopril (a drug from the group of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors) and hydrochlorothiazide (a drug with a diuretic effect). If the preparations were used separately, then hydrochlorothiazide would be better taken in the morning, and lisinopril in the evening. However, in the case of the combined preparation, which is Lisiprol HCT, the manufacturer does not specify the exact time of administration - the most important thing is that it should be one, constant time. Both drugs are prescribed by prescription, and doctors may recommend the combined use of these drugs due to the different (and in the case of hypertension) - complementary mechanism of action. If the drugs were prescribed by different doctors, then the combined use of Metocard with Lisiprol HCT should be consulted. Often these drugs are combined, but whether in your case it is necessary, it is here that the decision is made by the doctor who will assess the state of health. It is worth knowing that combining Lisiprol HCT with Metocard may affect the severity of the hypotensive effect, increased risk of hyperglycemia and hypertriglyceridemia (especially in patients with overt or latent diabetes).
