Deterioration of health at the beginning of the use of antidepressants - whether to discontinue the drug?
For 4 days I have been taking the drug prefaxinum 75mg. I feel bad. He gets bursts of heat. I have "uncomfortable" hands. Anorexia. I feel weak. Do you stop taking the drug or are these symptoms normal at first? I will add that my doctor who prescribed me this drug is not for the next week so I have no one to advise.

The symptoms described by you in the question may occur at the beginning of venlafaxine therapy contained in Prefaxinum. The body needs time to "adapt" to the action of the drug, hence initially, instead of improvement, the patient may feel a deterioration in health associated with the occurrence of side effects. Usually, their severity decreases after about 1-2 weeks of treatment. Please continue treatment as directed by your doctor. In the absence of improvement after about 2 weeks, you should consult a doctor.
