Is it possible to drink a contraceptive pill with water that has stood in the sun for an hour/one and a half? Will this somehow interfere with the action of the tablets? Does this affect the effectiveness of contraception?

As I have already mentioned, I do not find studies that would analyze the effect of stagnant water in the sun on the effectiveness of strictly contraceptive pills, so I will not quote your results, because I have not found any. It seems that in the case of the concerns you present, it is rational to drink medicines with water that has not been exposed to sunlight. A single drink of stagnant water in the sun for 1-1.5 hours certainly does not bring harm to the body, and regular drinking of such water, in fact, seems to be not a very good practice, because harmful substances can penetrate from the bottle into the water, e.g. bisphenol A (it depends on what the bottle is made of). It should be remembered that water - like medicines - contains information on the packaging that it should be stored in a dry and cool place.
I read on the Internet that under the influence of the sun harmful substances penetrate from a plastic bottle into water. I do not know if this is true and that's why I wanted to ask if it affects the effectiveness and the body?

You can drink the contraceptive pill with water that stood in the sun. There has been no research on how stagnant water in the sun affects the effects of tablets, because I cannot find a logical explanation for what could happen to it under the influence of the sun so that it affects the tablets in any way. If you have any objections - please drink the tablet with other water.
