Good evening! What is the difference between gynauxil - vaginal globules and vagisan lactic acid also vaginally. I had vaginal mycosis and I wanted to use one of these two medications. Which of them will be more effective for equalizing the ph of the vagina. Thank you

Gynauxil and Vagisan Cremolum globules differ in composition and purpose. Gynauxil globules contain, m.in, yeast extract, hyaluronic acid and lactic acid. They form a mucoadhesive emulsion that binds to the mucous membrane. It supports the restoration of the proper pH of the vagina, regeneration of the epithelium, maintenance of moisture. It stimulates the processes of tissue renewal and regeneration. It supports the selective multiplication of Lactobacillus bacteria. In contrast, Vagisan Cremolum in the form of globules contains mainly lactic acid. It supports the restoration of normal vaginal pH. Choosing the right preparation depends m.in, on the effect we want to achieve and the time in which we can use a specific product. Gynauxil should be used for 5 consecutive days starting from 1 day after the end of menstrual bleeding. Vagisan Cremolum, on the other hand, can be used at any time in the cycle (of course, skipping the days with bleeding).
