Can Rupafin be given to a child for a long time, possibly intermittently?

Good morning, we used Rupafin on a 6 year old for two weeks. Then a week break and again we got this drug - because of the recurrence of allergies. Can such a drug be given to a child for a long time or with such a break?

To @ Agnieszka: You can continue to use the drug after receiving it. Taking an unplanned break in the administration of the drug may cause an increase in allergy symptoms.

For @Nina: Use Rupafin exactly as your doctor has told you. In a large part of cases, breaks are used, during which there is no need for medication. These are, for example, periods without dusting of specific allergens. The use of breaks should result from the recommendation of them by the doctor. Do not stop or start treatment with antiallergic drugs yourself: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68238/rupafin-plyn/ulotka/178633

Good morning. And what break are you talking about? What more or less how much should they be?

Yes, Rupafin can be administered for a long time under medical supervision, with appropriate breaks. I am attaching a study that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-alergie-mozna-wyleczyc
