Is swelling of the tongue a side effect of Elicea?
Hi I take today the second day of elicea tablets after an hour of time I felt as if my tongue swollen and it was hard for me to put it to the palate after about 10 minutes it was all right.can it be a side effect? Can something just happen to me when I continue to take the drug? I do not know what to do any other symptoms I do not have and my doctor will be available on Monday

Swelling of the tongue after Elicea is most likely indicative of an allergic reaction. You should not continue taking the medicine in this situation, because the repetition of a similar situation may even lead to breathing problems. On Monday, you should talk about this situation with your doctor. Please note that side effects of medicines should be reported to your doctor or individually. By reporting side effects, you help other patients, including your loved ones, who may also need the same medicine one day. This step also allows you to gather more information on the safety of medicinal products and update data on them.
