Lisiprol and Polpril contain various chemicals. However, both substances belong to a group of medicines called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACEI) inhibitors: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/44502/lisiprol-tabletki/ulotka/96686 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/63088/polpril-tabletki/ulotka/115192 Lisinopril in Lisiprol belongs to hydrophilic (plasma) angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors. This type of ACEI is characterized by a more temporary effect on lowering blood pressure. Lisinopril begins to act after about 60 minutes, and its total duration of action is 18-30 h. The ramipril in Polpril is one of the lipophilic (tissue) angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors. This type of ACEI is characterized by a more long-term effect on lowering blood pressure. Ramipril begins to act after about 30-60 minutes, and its total duration of action is 24-60 h. It is not determined which of the preparations reduces the pressure by a greater value. The choice of the preparation is influenced by the m.in medical history of a given patient and the treatment used so far.
