The recommended daily dose of Fenistil drops is 0.1 mg/kg body weight/day, i.e. 2 drops per kg body weight per day, administered in 3 divided doses, e.g. 6 drops 3 times a day for an 8-month-old infant weighing 9 kg. For a child weighing 4 kg per day, 4 x 2 drops = 8 drops are administered, that is, if the child is to take the drug 2 times a day, he should receive 4 drops at a time. Please note that the dosage described by me is the manufacturer's recommendation. The doctor has the right to, on the basis of his own knowledge and experience, and above all after seeing and examining the child, to choose another dose that will be helpful. If you have any doubts whether the recommended dose is adequate, you should dispel them in a direct conversation with the doctor who recommended it, because by changing the dosage, it may turn out that the therapy will be ineffective.
