Otherwise, unless the tablet is mechanically removed from the body - there is no need to double the dose - please do not do this. If you forget to take the pill at the right time, then take it as soon as possible and then use an additional method of contraception for the next 7 days. You can also skip the placebo tablets completely and immediately switch to using another blister (then the day of using the first active tablet changes and you should remember about it). Please do not use several tablets at once if the situation does not require it and the one described by you definitely does not require it. Please concentrate on taking the tablets at the same time each day (an alarm on your phone may be helpful) and on swallowing the tablet immediately after putting it in your mouth. The drink to be washed down should be water.

And if I took an additional active pill in this cycle 2 for fear of losing the effectiveness of the one swallowed yesterday, would it affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception?
