No, Apo-Rami, Ramicor and Amlopin do not have the same effect. Apo-Rami and Ramicor contain ramipril, which belongs to angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, while Amlopin contains amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Both substances therefore belong to different therapeutic groups and act through different mechanisms. Although the end result of their action is similar - they lower blood pressure, due to a different mechanism of action they can not be used interchangeably.
