Is it possible to give Augmrntin 250mg for dry (laryngeal) cough with an elevated temperature of about 37.5 degrees? Will Nebud 0.25 be better? Is it possible to give these drugs in one day for a change? Child 14 years

Augmentin is not a drug used to treat cough - it is an antibiotic that acts on bacteria. Laryngeal cough most often has a viral basis, I wrote about it here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/kaszel-u-dziecka If during a viral infection there is an overinfection with bacteria, then the doctor may recommend taking an antibiotic, selecting it directly for the symptoms or ordering a culture. If, after ausculting the patient, the doctor considers the use of a steroid to be necessary, e.g. Nebbud, he may recommend inhalation and choose the right dose for the weight and age of the child. If you have received specific recommendations from your pediatrician, according to them, use the prescribed medications for your child. None of these medicines should be given without consulting a doctor.
